The running kids business is in terms of volume one of the most important of the whole Kids Business Unit. I was for a few seasons in charge of franchises like Adifast, Hyperfast or even some trail version of them. These projects were price sensitive and that definitely helped me get the experience of making good and valuable looking shoes at a low price point, which also helped me a few years later when I was in charge of running or training Adult models.
Adifast was very well received by the countries and customers, and was in terms of volume the best running shoe ever sold for the KSA business unit which made me and the team really proud of what we achieved.
In the end working for running kids “stand alone” was definitely a really enriching experience that helped me grow as a footwear designer, trying to optimize cost and keeping at the same time in mind all the technical features needed on the adult running shoes.
